Jordan and Peter Andre separating

After three-and-a half years of marriage, Peter Andre and Katie Price are ending their marriage. They are divorcing. There is no reason given by the couple for the split. In September 2005 the couple married at Highclere Castle in Hampshire and they have three children, Junior and Princess Tiaamii, and Price has also another son Harvey, from an earlier relationship. The couple met each other at the reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2004 on ITV1. They have been an important part of their own fly-on-the-wall TV show. The ITV2 documentary currently shows Peter Andre in California for three months. He went to California to record his latest album.

Well, what shall I say on this news article. I watched their own fly-on-the wall TV show a couple of times, but I do not like to watch these kinds of programmes so I never continued watching it. Besides, it is full of nonsense and it is certainly not educational. Nowadays it is a fact that a lot of people do not stay married that long. They divorce very easily for the slightest things. This is principally the case with famous people. How many times did the media shows us that famous couples marry and divorce over and over again? Well, I stopped counting. Horrible. It seems like they think that marriage is some kind of game or something.

I only read this kind of articles on holiday. I have not watched their TV show ever, but I know Peter Andre from a well-known song that used to be very popular years ago. I did not know that he was married with Jordan, and what she does for her living, besides playing in her own TV show. It is a pity that they are getting divorced, but things like that can happen to everyone. It is not just something for the rich and famous.

I agree with Peter and Jordan divorcing. According to the media Jordan has been seen kissing some bartender and pictures have been made of this event. Peter did nog accept this and now wants a divorce. I do hope for the sake of their children that the will both get custody over their children; of course they come first.

Last February there was a news article published in The Sun which caused a lot of fuss. This article was about Alfie Patten, a twelve -year -old boy, who according to his fifteen-year-old girlfriend, Chantelle Stedman, is the father of her child. Baby Maisie was born at Eastbourne District General Hospital on February 9 this year. Nearly immediately serious questions were raised about whether Alfie, could in fact be the child's real father. Although Chantelle Stedman has insisted all the time that Alfie is the father of her child, six other young boys said that they had also slept with Chantelle. After a court judgment DNA tests have shown that not Alfie Patten is the father of Chantelle Stedman’s baby but the fifteen-year-old Tayler Barker is. Tyler Banker has admitted having unprotected sex with the girl after spending the night drinking at her home, but he never thought it was going to be such a big problem, because Chantelle said she would take the morning after pill. Even her mother knew the kids were going to have sex.

Debate: kids are having kids

Arguments in favor:
- Nowadays it is not a big problem when young children become a parent because there are a lot of professional provisions for financial and psychological support for this target group.
- Children who become parent have more Sense of responsibility.
- Having a child on that age would be better than having an abortion. An abortion would be against faith.

Arguments against:
- No chance to study.
- You can lose your family by hurting their feelings.
- Raising a child is just too expensive so they will face financial difficulties.
- Face an insecure future.
- Your youth slips through your fingers.
- We should offer young children more and better sex education.
- The parents are educators; it is their responsibility to correct their children.
- Sex on this age is not good for the development of young children.

My conclusion:
Today’s children are psychically more mature, but kids having kids is in my opinion extremely worrying. It has become a vexed question in society. We can blame the parents or another kind of sort educator, but I think we must blame the authorities and institutes like Children’s Help Lines and Child Welfare Councils. I think that authorities have too much voice in social questions under which upbringing. We all know the procedures and methods of working of these authorities. They always stand up for the rights of the children what makes that parent have less to say. Even when you spank your child correctively this could cause difficulties for you as a parent. Because of the fact that parents have less to say children have more room to move, with all its consequences.
